Lindsay James Releases New TV Ad “Broken Road” About the Parable of the Good Samaritan

DUBUQUE, IA - Today, Lindsay James released a new ad “Broken Road,” sharing her closing message of the general election. While knocking on doors, holding public town halls, and meeting people in their communities, Lindsay heard from voters that they feel forgotten by the very politicians that are supposed to represent them. As a minister, she sees this as a real life example of the parable of the Good Samaritan. In Congress, Lindsay will work to not only help her neighbors hurt and harmed on the side of the road, but to fix the systemic issues causing them to be hurt in the first place. I hear the same thing across Northeast Iowa. Washington isn't working and politicians turn a blind eye to those in need. 

It's a modern example of the parable of the Good Samaritan. We should help the person being harmed on the side of the road, but it's also our duty to fix the road. 

These aren't just faith values, they're Iowa values. They're the values I'll bring to Congress.
