Ironworkers Local 89 Endorses Rep. Lindsay James in IA-02

Dubuque, IA - Today, Ironworkers Local 89 announced their endorsement of State Representative Lindsay James in the race for Iowa’s Second Congressional District

“At a time when working families are struggling most, we need a representative who will stand up to billionaires and corruption in DC. Lindsay James has been doing just that for the past 8 years in Des Moines because as a working mother, she knows the struggle everyday Iowans face. In Congress, we have no doubt she'll stand for us, not the wealthy and well connected.” said Business Manager Seth Gorman.

Ironworkers Local 89 represents thousands of workers across northeast Iowa. People who do grueling manual labor and build our community, one structure at a time.

“I’m honored to have the support of Ironworkers Local 89. Hard working Iowans deserve to get ahead, but politicians in DC are more concerned with lining their own pockets instead of lowering costs or raising wages for Iowans.” said James. “In Congress, I’ll stand up to corporate interests and fight for better pay, lower costs, and an economy that works for all Iowans.”
