Iowa AFL-CIO Endorses Rep. Lindsay James in IA-02

Dubuque, IA - Over the weekend, the Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO met at their annual COPE Convention where their members voted to endorse State Representative Lindsay James in the race for Iowa’s 2nd Congressional district.

“Lindsay James is the best candidate for working men and women, as well as their families.” said Iowa Federation of Labor President Charlie Wishman.

The Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO represents over 42,000 members of over 280 unions in Iowa.

“I’m incredibly excited to have the endorsement from the Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO. Working Iowans are tired of the corruption in DC leading to impossible financial choices for their families. I look forward to going to Washington and fighting to increase wages and bring down the cost of housing, healthcare, and groceries to make Iowan’s lives easier.” said Lindsay James.
